Projects
The voter-approved Local Option Sales Tax will raise an estimated $30 million over 13 years for multiple community projects. These projects include a new Recreation and Events Center, a new Community Center, additional Athletic Fields, upgrades to Robbins Island and Swansson Field, and Stormwater Improvements.

Subcommittees and Board

There are six Subcommittees representing each project with a steering committee, the Invest in Willmar Board, which reviews recommendations from each Sub-committee. In addition, the recommendations for each project are sent to the Parks & Recreation Board for approval, and to the City Council for final approval.
