The Brush Site will be open its regular hours of 9 am to 6 pm Monday, Wednesday, Saturday.
Highway 40 detour continues to remain in place from 30th Street to 45th Street.

The Brush Site is open for Willmar residents only.
What materials are accepted?
The compost facility will accept leaves, grass clippings, and garden clippings only. Residents should note that leaves, grass, and garden materials must be separated from brush and branches.What materials are not accepted?
Absolutely no lumber or garbage of any kind is accepted. No boxes, plastic bags, or plastic of any type may be left at the site. No firewood may be removed.Does the Brush Site offer Free Compost?
Yes, finished, unscreened compost may be taken from the brush site when available. Mechanical loading is prohibited. I don't live in Willmar, is there anywhere else I can bring my yard waste?
The Kandiyohi County Landfill also accepts brush and leaves at no charge.

The City of Willmar Brush Site is located 3 miles west of Willmar. From the corner of County Road 5 and Trunk Highway 40 travel 3-miles to County Road 116 (75th Street SW), turn left and go 1 mile south, and then turn right. This Brush Site is 1/2 mile west of County Road 116 past the Willmar Trap Range and the Wastewater Treatment Facility.
